PHLster Holsters has expanded its Enigma beltless carry platform with a pocket-pistol-specific variant, the Enigma Micro, available now at $150 through the company's direct website. The Micro supports three of the most widely carried micro-compact handguns: the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0, the Glock 42, and the Ruger LCP, LCP 2, and LCP Max.
The original Enigma established PHLster as a significant voice in the beltless-carry market, offering a waistband strap system that lets carriers run a purpose-built holster without a dedicated gun belt. The setup found a following among professionals who carry in environments where a gun belt is impractical, people who dress without belt loops, and everyday carriers who want full holster adjustability without the commitment of a stiff outer belt. The Micro extends that concept to micro-compact and pocket pistols specifically — guns that present different carry engineering challenges than larger frames because of their light weight, short barrel height, and tendency to shift or print without a well-matched holster solution.
The Enigma Micro ships fully assembled and ready to wear out of the box. PHLster's patent-pending CamWing mechanism comes pre-configured for each gun fitment and allows the carrier to adjust ride height, cant, and retention on-body without removing the rig. Single-point and two-point leg leash options are both included, giving the carrier flexibility in managing how much the holster bottom moves during activity — a consideration that matters more with very light pistols than with heavier compact frames. PHLster applies its ComfortScape holster-shell molding to each Micro fitment, which the company says improves all-day comfort in the waistband position.
The Firearm Blog covered the Micro launch on July 13, noting that the system addresses a real gap in the beltless-carry market: most existing holster solutions for pocket pistols are clip-on or friction-based designs that sacrifice adjustability in exchange for a smaller package. PHLster's approach puts the full Enigma adjustment toolkit — ride height, cant, retention, leg leash configuration — into a form factor matched to the smallest carry guns on the market, rather than asking buyers to trade capability for size.
PHLster backs every Enigma Micro with the same lifetime warranty and free support resources — written setup guides, a video tutorial library, and live tune-up classes — that have accompanied its other Enigma systems from the beginning. The company has consistently expanded Enigma fitment compatibility as new pistols gain market share. Additional Micro-compatible models are likely to follow as the pocket-pistol segment continues to grow. Carriers interested in the system can configure and order directly through PHLster's website.
