This Privacy Policy explains what information Guns & Gear HQ ("we," "us," "our") collects when you visit gunsgearhq.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Our web server records your IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. Logs are retained for a short period for security and debugging.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name you provide, an optional email address, your comment text, and your IP address (for spam prevention).
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide and your IP at signup.
- Cookies and analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic in aggregate. Google Analytics sets cookies that collect information such as pages viewed, referrer, device, and approximate location.

Email sending
Transactional email (newsletter welcome messages, comment-moderation notifications) is sent through MailerSend. The recipient email address, subject, and message body are transmitted to MailerSend for delivery. See MailerSend's Privacy Policy.

Some outbound product links are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may share a small commission with us at no extra cost to you. Clicks may be tracked by the retailer (Amazon, Brownells, etc.) per their own privacy policies. We never sell your personal information.
