WOOX has expanded its Vigilante furniture line for AR-15 and AR-10 platforms with the introduction of the Vigilante Fixed Stock, adding a classic fixed-stock option to a lineup that already includes an adjustable mil-spec stock, pistol grip, and M-LOK handguard. The Shooting Wire carried the announcement on August 24, noting the stock is available now.

The Vigilante Fixed Stock is built from Claro American walnut, a domestic hardwood variety valued for its tight grain and natural figure, and precision-machined in Italy by fourth-generation craftsmen before final hand-finishing at WOOX's facility in Hickory, North Carolina. The company says it rejects roughly 24 out of every 25 walnut blanks during the selection process — only about one blank in 25 passes inspection for grain consistency before entering production, which is part of why the finished product carries visible figure even at the $199 price point.

The stock attaches to any AR-15 or AR-10 running an A2 rifle-length buffer tube via a standard 1/4"-28 UNF rear mounting hole, covering the vast majority of mil-spec upper and lower pairings without modification. The finished weight comes in at 0.84 pounds — relatively light for a fixed walnut stock — and ambidextrous QD sling attachment points are machined into both the left and right sides. MSRP is $199.

The Vigilante line targets a distinct segment of the AR accessories market: builders who want the aesthetic and feel of classic American wood furniture rather than the polymer and aluminum that dominate the category.
