Walther Arms launched a promotion on November 1 giving any purchaser of a qualifying new PDP or PDP F-Series pistol a free Vortex Venom Enclosed Micro Red Dot, valued at $290, through December 31, 2026. Terms are posted on the Walther Arms website.
9mm polymer-frame striker-fired service pistol, optics-ready
The Vortex Venom Enclosed Micro Red Dot is a 3 MOA enclosed-emitter pistol optic built on a DeltaPoint Pro footprint, running on a CR2032 battery with a rated 20,000-hour runtime. The enclosed emitter in a low-profile housing makes it a popular choice for carry builds, and at a street price around $200 it represents a meaningful addition on a pistol purchase.
The promotion applies to the standard PDP and PDP F-Series variants, which together cover Walther's full-size, compact, and subcompact configurations in 4-inch and 5-inch barrel lengths. Several models are excluded: the PDP Professional ACRO, the PDP Professional SMU (both of which ship with an optic pre-installed), and any Meister Manufaktur edition. Purchases made under law enforcement, VIP, or IOP pricing programs also do not qualify.
The Walther PDP has held a prominent place in the competitive polymer-frame carry market since its 2021 debut. The platform pairs an ergonomic grip with a low bore axis and a crisp trigger, factors that helped it land military and law enforcement contracts in several European countries. At current street prices, which typically run near $600 for the PDP Compact, the included optic amounts to a roughly 15 percent reduction in total setup cost for a buyer who intends to run a red dot.
Redemption mechanics vary by retailer. Walther's own page describes a direct ship program, while some dealers are advertising the Venom as a mail-in rebate. Buyers using Walther's 30-day money-back guarantee should note that the $290 optic value is deducted from any firearm refund, and the Vortex Venom Enclosed Micro Red Dot is non-returnable under those terms. Walther Arms reserves the right to modify, change, or discontinue the promotion at any time for any reason.
The promotion runs through December 31 at participating authorized dealers. Shooters looking to build a carry-ready optics setup before year's end should confirm redemption terms with their preferred dealer, as the mechanics appear to differ slightly between distribution channels.
