CZ-USA announced on September 1 that the CZ TS 3 ORANGE, flagship of the company's new TS 3 competition series, is now shipping to dealers across the United States at an MSRP of $2,729.99. The pistol was developed in close collaboration with Eric Grauffel — the Czech competition shooter who has captured 11 IPSC World Championship titles — and had been available only in Europe since its debut, making the US distribution announcement one of the more closely watched releases in the domestic competition-pistol segment this year. The Firearm Blog and The Outdoor Wire confirmed the US availability on September 1.

The TS 3 ORANGE is purpose-built for IPSC Optics and USPSA Limited Optics divisions, and its most notable technical distinction is a direct-mount optics interface machined directly into the slide. That interface accepts red dot sights in the RMR, RMSc, DeltaPoint Pro, and Holosun K footprints without an adapter plate, dropping the optic lower on the slide and eliminating one mechanical interface that can introduce inconsistency during sight changes. The single-action-only trigger breaks at approximately 1.3 pounds — a pull weight that places it firmly in custom-build territory rather than standard factory competition spec.

Capacity is 20+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, fed through double-stack metal magazines. The frame geometry prioritizes hand position: a deep undercut beneath the trigger guard and a pronounced beavertail allow the shooter to ride the gun high, reducing muzzle movement through rapid-fire strings. Each TS 3 ORANGE is individually fitted by a CZ gunsmith, with the slide, frame, and barrel hand-matched to minimize play. That level of production-floor hand fitting is uncommon even among factory competition pistols at any price point, and it accounts for a meaningful portion of the four-figure MSRP.

For domestic USPSA and IPSC shooters who have been tracking the TS 3 ORANGE since it appeared at IWA OutdoorClassics earlier this year, the September availability window provides enough lead time to run the gun through a break-in period before fall major matches. CZ-USA has not announced a left-hand model or alternate caliber offering for the TS 3 series at this stage.
