BANISH Suppressors has released the HD 762 INC, a dedicated 7.62 NATO/.308 Winchester suppressor made entirely from additively manufactured 718 Inconel and rated for full-auto fire. The Sioux Falls, South Dakota, company announced the can on November 5, and it carries an MSRP of $1,129. It is available now through BANISH dealers in Black and Flat Dark Earth Cerakote.
The HD 762 INC is the second model in BANISH's Heavy Duty line, which the company reserves for suppressors built for hard use and high rates of fire. It builds on the design of the BANISH HD 556 INC and targets the guns that punish a .30-caliber can the most: AR-10s, 6mm AR-15s, gas-operated precision rifles and short-barreled rifles.
Gas guns are the problem the design is meant to solve. A conventional suppressor on a direct-impingement or piston rifle sends gas back through the action, which means a dirtier gun, more gas in the shooter's face and harder cycling. BANISH says the HD 762 INC's nine baffles and eight helical vents route expanding gas along a controlled path, keeping back pressure low without giving up sound or flash suppression.
"Gas guns are hard on a suppressor, and too much back pressure makes them hard on the shooter, too," Kelly Streiff, BANISH Suppressors chief revenue officer, said in the announcement. "The HD 762 INC is built from Inconel to handle that punishment, and the controlled-flow design keeps the rifle running clean and comfortable. We expect it to become the go-to suppressor for anyone running an AR-10, a gas-operated precision rifle or an SBR."

The can measures 6.7 inches long and 1.65 inches in diameter and weighs 15.9 ounces without a mount. It carries no barrel-length restrictions and is rated for cartridges from 5.56 NATO up to .300 RUM. BANISH lists it as compatible with high-pressure loads including 6.5 Creedmoor, Federal's 6.5 Creedmoor +Peak and 7mm Backcountry.
BANISH published its own sound numbers for both supersonic and subsonic use. In internal testing, the HD 762 INC averaged 135.7 dB at the shooter's ear with supersonic .308 Winchester through a 16-inch AR-10. With subsonic .300 Blackout through a 16-inch AR, the average dropped to 126.2 dB.

Mounting follows the same approach as the rest of the BANISH centerfire lineup:
- A 5/8x24 direct-thread mount ships in the box.
- Industry-standard HUB threads make the can compatible with the major quick-detach mounting systems.
- 1.9 inches of space to the first baffle leaves room for full-length muzzle brakes and flash hiders.
That HUB interface means owners already running HUB-pattern mounts on other rifles can move the HD 762 INC between guns without buying new hardware.

The HD 762 INC lists at the same price as the stainless BANISH COMP 6.5 SS the company launched in September. It is made in the United States and covered by the BANISH lifetime warranty, which protects against manufacturing defects and damage from normal use. New owners can also use the BANISH Service Program for a full maintenance check within the first year of ownership.
