Davidsons and Hi-Point Firearms have announced a dealer-exclusive collaboration on a limited-edition Burnt Bronze Cerakote version of Hi-Point's Hush-Point 22 rimfire suppressor, available immediately through Davidsons distribution to dealers nationwide, The Outdoor Wire reported.
The Hush-Point 22 is a monocore rimfire can built around an aluminum body with a 17-4 stainless steel host cap threaded 1/2x28 for direct-thread attachment. At 6.19 inches long and 4.9 ounces, it adds minimal weight and length to a rimfire host while providing meaningful sound reduction across a broad range of compatible cartridges: .22 LR, .22 Short, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, .17 WSM, and .17 Mach 2. The standard Hush-Point 22 carries an MSRP of $239, and Hi-Point backs the entire Hush-Point line with its lifetime, no-questions-asked warranty. The Davidsons exclusive Burnt Bronze edition differentiates itself visually from the standard black model with a striking Cerakote finish — pricing for the exclusive finish variant was not confirmed at press time. Dealers should contact their Davidsons representative or visit the distributor's product page at davidsonsinc.com/hpt-silencer-22lr-burnt-bronze for ordering information.
The collaboration lands at a favorable moment in the suppressor market. Congress eliminated the $200 NFA transfer tax on suppressors through reconciliation legislation earlier this year, triggering a surge in Form 4 applications and driving up first-time buyer interest. Hi-Point entered the suppressor category at SHOT Show 2026 with two Hush-Point models — the rimfire HP22 and the multi-caliber Hush-Point 9/45 — applying the brand's longstanding value-forward approach to the NFA market. The company has since expanded the line with the rifle-caliber Hush-Point 30, giving it a full-spectrum suppressor family across rimfire, centerfire pistol, and rifle applications. As American Rifleman noted when the Hush-Point family debuted, Hi-Point is targeting entry-level suppressor buyers who have historically been priced out of the major brands.
Davidsons, one of the country's largest full-service firearms distributors, has a history of offering finish-exclusive or configuration-exclusive product variants to differentiate its dealer network. The Burnt Bronze Hush-Point 22 follows that playbook, giving dealers a SKU that is unavailable through competing distribution channels. With the NFA tax barrier gone, accessory attach rates on rimfire sales are expected to climb through 2026, and the sub-$300 price point positions the Hush-Point 22 as an easy add-on for first-time suppressor buyers picking up a .22 LR pistol or rifle.
Dealers interested in stocking the exclusive edition should move quickly: Davidsons distribution exclusives on limited-finish products tend to sell through at the wholesale level before reaching broad retail availability.
